I have been going to Larry at ECAR for a couple years now and each time they prove themselves to be a great value. I just bought a new car and wanted them to check it out from head to toe. They performed a 60 point checklist and then some. It took a couple of hours and in the end everything was perfect except the alignment which they corrected. For all their work it only cost $80. I had called the dealer and they were $150 to look over my car and $125 to align my wheels. ECAR has earned my business once again! Thanks Larry and Mike!

We were comng from te airport when our car broke down..Found this auto repair on google. It had a star rating and it definatel was. We were back on the road in 2 hours and the staff could not have been nicer. If I didn't live 200 miles away, this would be the only place I would ever take a car. Thanks so much

I needed to have the catalytic converter replaced in my 98 Accord. Extracare was able to do the work way under the estimate and in reasonable time. I've been doing business with them since 1996. They always do cost-effective repairs that are sound. I've never had a "redo" because a repair was done incorrectly. Larry and Mike run a trustworthy shop!

I take all of my vehicles here from my wife's corolla to my 95' twin turbo supra. Larry and his staff are the real deal. I have had NO problems with any of my vehicles since i began bringing them here for a few years now, & i rest assured because the parts (including labor) have been warrantied for an extended period of time. Short version: Larry and team are thorough, professional, and succeed where others fail. Long version: I've been bringing my Honda Fit to Larry over the last year, starting with a previously misdiagnosed mystery grind that ended up being a set of wheel bearings. The repair was timely, fairly priced, and results of the repair were excellent. Extra Care continues to be my go-to shop. I'm always pleased with the work, timeliness, ability to arrange for replacement rentals, and the AAA member discount. Larry will walk novice owners and jaded break-down fans (aka old car afficionados) through a repair, and help find a long-term route to success. Worth the stop.

I have to say that this auto repair business may be the finest, most helpful, most ethical that I have ever done business with. My family was on a 2 week road trip from Washington state (a long way from home) when the transmission went out. We chose Extra Care Auto Repair based upon the good reviews on the internet, and were not disappointed. We limped our way in a stuck 2nd gear to their door and were immediately invited in and put at ease with their knowledge and ethics. It is scary to do a big, expensive, job so far from home, let alone the time lost from our trip. Larry (such a great guy) stopped everything, checked it out both visually and with the code detector, and determined that the job was too large for his business to do that day. He recommended, and arranged with, a transmission shop that he often uses for specialized work, or for when they are over-loaded. He also made arrangements for Enterprise to come and pick us up and help us to get the van to the other shop. Both the other transmission shop and Enterprise offered substantial discounts based upon Larry's recommendation too! Larry would not even take a $20 tip which I offered. Wonderful Business! I've been taking my cars here almost since it opened. I've many services here from timing belt changes, install new engine, alternator changes, radiator replacement, etc.

The fixes to my cars have always been done professionally. There were two times when their repairs had issues. Once they installed a new thermostat and I started having issues with my engine overheating. And once an alternator they installed failed during the warranty period. Both of these  issues they quickly corrected.

A couple of times when they gave an inspection estimate to figure out what was wrong with my car, they found out the problem very early on and did not charge me the full inspection.  They are fair, honest, and do good work. I recommend them to my friends  

This outfit is still interested in honest auto repair work for a reasonable cost and very accurate time estimate. I've delt with Mike, the owner, Larry the manager & Joe the professional Honda expert. They are spot on their analysis of things going bad or things that may soon go bad (things wear out and can be dangerous when they fail).  
Their prices are significantly less than the dealers who tend to sell you expensive parts you don't need. And they are qualified to do work on warrantied cars w/o voiding the warranty.  So save $$ with the friendly guys who don't talk down to you...they explain so you can get it!
